Guangming Green Transportation Plan. Appointed to a design team from the International New Town Institute of the Netherlands to devise a Green Transportation network for Guangming, a district of Shenzhen. In charge of the bike network component, comprising a rain covered green loop (bicycle highway) and a capillary network of bike lanes and quiet ways, all integrated with existing subway and high-speed rail nodes and a proposed new BRT system. Colegio de la Bici, Bogota. Engaged by the Peñalosa administration and Bogota’s Secretariat of Education to shape the design competition brief for the Colegio de la Bici in the district of Bosa. https://x.com/Educacionbogota/status/889864725730926597
Drammen Hospital Redevelopment. In collaboration with Futurebuilt, Fragment Architects, Trøbbelskyter and Helene Gallis, developed a masterplan for the site’s adaptation.
New Nittedal Center. In collaboration with Ramboll Engineering in Oslo and Everyday architects in Copenhagen, produced an urban growth plan for Nittedal, Norway. http://www.arkitektur.no/nye-nittedal-sentrum
VeloCity Maryville. Report writing and representations on behalf of the Mavid Group property development company. Increased site-yield and reduced car parking in exchange for increased bicycling amenity in the dwelling units. Suggested a voluntary planning agreement that resulted in upgrades to a cycleway passing the site.
John Hunter Hospital Ride to Work Plan. Commissioned by the Hunter New England Local Health District in Australia to provide a comprehensive strategy for increasing the number of people riding to work. The plan included a range of incentives, proposed improvements to infrastructure and end of trip facilities, and community based social marketing measures.
Living Streets Map of Newcastle. Commissioned by the Property Council of Australia to produce a figure-ground plan (or “Nolli map”) highlighting all public space in the city conducive to cycling.
